I suppose, like syrup, in order for it to move faster, it needs to be heated up. In the seventies we...Fear is a powerful motivator. In the seventies we were bouyed by the successes and hopeful outlook of the 60s. We also had some economic security. Now in these tough times people are afraid and other people are using fear to their own agenda. I fear mostly that either the fear mongers will win or for what horrific event will happen that will, again, cause people to act on what's right.
